AFP recently provided state teams with a scorecard to review how well their state performs in relation to the policies, practices and strategies that increase opportunities for competitive employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabiliites.  The answers to the questions on the scorecard will help state teams identify priorities, set goals, and outline strategies for doubling their states' rate of employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The scorecard was created under the guidance of AFP's Advisory Council, comprised of leaders in the field of disability employment who assist AFP in forming goals and strategies and prioritizing activities to increase employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.  "AFP is thankful for the expertise of our Advisory Council in the development of our State Team Scorecard," said Karen Flippo, AFP State Team coordinator.  "Their breadth of knowledge and experience ensures that this scorecard will provide tremendous value to our state teams."
